There are many different uses for QR Codes in the classroom! A QR code is a box with a code consisting of black and white squares that can be read by holding a phone to the image with a QR reader App. The app is free to download and free to use! To create the QR codes you need to access a website in order to create the actual code itself. The QR code is a way to link images, videos, answers to questions, and more. In a classroom where Ipad's are available, a teacher could download QR readers on each Ipad to open a world of QR codes! Teachers can have a morning question and have the children answer it, and a way for the children to see if they got their answer right would be to scan the QR Code on the board under the question. Another idea could be the teacher setting up stations and having the students watch a different video at each station by scanning the QR code.
